Family of Advisors

Who we are and how we invest

It’s not about culture fit or pattern matching, it’s about opportunity. We do not follow the herd. We allocate capital where the most value can be created through technology and talent. We are able to optimally contribute when we partner with leaders who have been resourceful, capital efficient, and still have hunger to grow. We love enterprises with a demonstrated ability to attract loyal customers. We do not care about a company’s headquarters, we care about the customers and the talent dedicated to them. We welcome each portfolio company’s team to our family.

Aside from capital, we bring technology and talent unlike other private equity firms. We derive insights from deep industry research and access to public company executives, and are hyper-focused on market opportunity for our portfolio companies. We are very hands-on as we roll up our sleeves and work closely with our companies. Technical talent is inside our firm and our companies benefit immediately. We take full responsibility for the next stage of our companies’ growth as responsible stewards of our investors’ capital. We challenge the norms set by other private equity firms and plainly ensure resources are put to their most efficient and productive use.

We are hungry, entrepreneurial, dedicated, creative, diverse, and willing to go against the grain. Our people support our companies by leveraging their experiences from institutions such as Goldman Sachs, McKinsey & Company, TCW, KKR, Vista Equity Partners, Evercore, Sequoia Capital, SAC Capital, Accenture, Amazon, Disney, GoDaddy, Google, IBM, Intel, Microsoft, Symantec, VMware, and the U.S. Treasury. While these institutions have written the recent history of productivity, the time is ripe for new teams to write the next chapters of innovation in our global economy. Join us.

Experience

Companies below reflect the team’s industry expertise in consumer, internet, media, healthcare, services, and software. For each company, at least one of the partners had prior institutional research coverage or has current ownership interests either through direct investment or a fund investment in which a Partner was a Fund Partner.
